After updating uifont.ali report copy paste giving junk chars [message #648641]

Hi All,

I have added the font names under [ PDF:Subset ]. And report is displaying in arabic fonts as required. But when i copy and paste the content from pdf output file which will paste the junk characters in note pad or any woord document, please help me.

What happens if you adjust font in the Word document so that it supports Arabic characters? Because, if you copy Arabic text and apply (for example) Arial Central European font to it, I'd expect junk as well.

Even I tried to convert the font by changing the font but its still the same, I have tried to convert the pdf document to word or xml still its giving me junk characters.

I'm afraid I can't help any further. I don't have any experience with different character sets so you'll have to wait for someone else's opinion.
